Recently I received a text message with a very interesting document from the CIA government website attached. In it were two things I had never seen before– a double-torus model of the universe that is remarkably similar to the model I present in The Enlightening, and an oscillating, wavelike model of space-time, which I maintain is, in fact, the case. Some of the points regarding the possibilities of the human mind are also interesting, in the context of my book.

Can this document possibly reflect any kind of truth? Well, it was declassified and released by the CIA itself, so it would be difficult to argue that the Gateway research never happened. You may be familiar with the 2009 film “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” which was based on the book and documentary by Jon Ronson, which described some of the more outrageous aspects of the CIA Gateway research. As intriguing as the alleged research is, I am especially intrigued by how well aspects of it match up with The Enlightening.

Coincidence? You decide… here is the document, attached below. A nice illustration of an oscillating model of space-time is on page 15, and a double-torus type model of the large-scale structure of the universe, similar to my own model, appears on pages 18 and 20.
